Roberto Carpentiere was born in Vicenza, Italy, and is a self-taught artist. He has travelled the world in the continuous search for new ways to express himself through colours, particularly the warm and luminous ochre, yellows and browns.

Roberto loves to use and mix new materials with natural earthy ones such as sand. The influence of the various places he has lived and worked in (especially Greece) can be seen in his paintings and has gone through a natural evolution: the abstract - the informal - the figurative.

Roberto has designed and executed numerous mural paintings. His works can be found in private collections in Italy, France, The Netherlands, Greece, the USA, and England. Roberto currently lives in Whitstable.
